I am Spread naked with clinical detachment My flesh bears no intimacy or affection My emotions scarred by their scornful stares My mind rended in half by its own designs
my thoughts lay barren and vulnerable You are not but a voyeur, an intrusion in me are you entitled to the disgust the sight brings can you not look away from my destruction
My soul punished for the musings of my mind My vices framed as gifts and privileges My love lost in my observations My sense of self drowned in their praises
Is my self judgment divine condemnation Am I both the judge and the perpetrator can I grant myself the forgiveness I beseech will I offer my release or will I retain the keys
02
I stare at the sunset and wonder what you see I look into my mind and wonder if you think of me we share no connection but our lonely humanity Both walking the same maze but you dont search for me
03
Every man wants to change the world But how has the world changed you?
04
Wish the ending was a fairytale We could dance to death in a picture book hall But the Sphinx says it is morning so now we must crawl Deeper and deeper we spiral and fall
05
I had a Curious dream last night In the machine I Lost myself and found that you were dead Now I awaken from that dream But the only thing lost is my head
06
Flowers unpicked wilt regardless Two dogs fight just like the godless Your sparks light my funeral pier My corpse untouched rests in mire
07
See my reflection in a darkened window Go for drive but im the only car on the road My headlights dance like spirits Swerve side to side, feel the wind
See my ghost in a broken window Go for a drive but there is no car on the road My headlights blink out with my vision Pull to the side feel my blood
Phone notifications from texts never sent Prayers leak out from dead mouths to repent God of the night sky to where has my soul went My bodies cold and my mind is gone nothing left but words unmeant
